    We stayed there thinking it was very close to Water Country but....it rained so we had to look for something else to do with 3 little ones, we found many things to do in downtown Portsmouth.

    We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Portsmouth for a 4 day weekend vacation that we planned at the last minute. The front desk was friendly and very helpful on check-in, check-out and whenever needed. They gave us great directions and recommendations for activities, restaurants and parking in the downtown area. Although the hotel is outside of the downtown area, it was only minutes to drive there and it was a very direct route. The room was very clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very roomy. The room even had a small refrigerator and microwave, as well as an iron, ironing board and blow dryer. We were very happy with our stay and would stay there again.
