Everything was great. I was a bit surprised to learn that a hold had to be placed on my account because I did not have a credit card; although, I prepaid for the room. I think this information needs to be made available before the guest arrives.

The staff that works the front desk and the vallet service could have been better, but it was not horrible. I would stay there again.

I was there for workshops...they provided us with popcorn during an afternoon break, and it was still on the floor the next day, as well as the other trash. The restaurant was soooo expensive that we couldn't eat there. Also, without a car, is was diffidult finding restaurants that were opened Sat and Sun. I think that biggest complaint was that coffee was not provided, except for Starbucks which was only free if you signed up for The Hyatt's Gold card!!! I have stayed at other places which provided coffee in the lobby.
Another problem was that the internet was only available free in the public areas, NOT in the room!!!
a very good hotel, with all the amenities that you could ask for.

The staff was very helpful with providing a roll away bed and refrigerator for our room. The pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and the staff was very kind to us considering we had a 3 yr. and 11mo old with us. The parking lot attendants even gave us great directions to local sights. The only things to consider are that the downtown area isn't really great for walking around in the evening/night with kids and the hotel doesn't have a lot of local character. Lots of conventioneers and business travelers.

Nice hotel and nice staff but downtown ABQ is not the place to be unless you have state (government) business to deal with or courthouse issues...all other attractions, restaurants, shopping have moved to the periphery of the area...airport or 40/25 hwy. corridors...accessibilty to area attractions is much easier from these other areas.
