Looks CAN be deceiving. This one is easy to drive by due to the fact that its spread through numerous buildings in a quiet semi-residential neighborhood. At first glance, you might keep on going - DON'T! Once inside you'll feel welcome and be glad you chose this one. The rooms in the Pueblo section are unique and fun (almost cabin like). The front desk staff is outstanding and put us at the right dinner table each evening. Free full breakfast and free parking in a town where parking is hard to find are huge benefits. Great restaurants in walking distance, short three block walk to the Plaza. PERFECT!
I suspect las palomas was constructed sometime early in the last century. also probably re-purposed from something else than a b&b - not sure what.

First reaction was not really positive. But, the longer I stayed, the more I liked the place. Come in from a long day, put together a little fire in the fireplace, and totally relax. Not a lot of amenities, but somehow, you just did not need them.
This was not a vanilla experience. I highly recommend it if you have more than a couple of days to acclimatize.
