The toilets were clogged & came up into the sink & tub. Couldn't "Wouldn't" take a shower or use the nasty sink. Holes in carpet,mattress was 6 inches thick & pillows were as flat as a pancake. I needed 4 just to sleep. Very gross hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my daughter to visit Alfred University. I read some of the other reviews of this hotel & figured why not save some $$ - all we need is a place to sleep for the night. I don't know where the positive reviewers stayed but it was not at this place. I can overlook the 70's decor, some peeling wallpaper and damaged walls. BUT - I can not overlook basic cleanliness. I booked a non-smoking room, the room smelled like an ashtray. The carpet was filthy and the bathroom had a serious mold/mildew problem. I would have left & checked into another hotel something I have never done but it was 11:30pm and I had no idea where else to stay. Also the women at check-in was not familiar with bookings done online & when I checked in she wanted to charge me for the room – $, this was $ less than I prepaid. From now on I'm going to make sure to bring back-up hotels with me when I travel in an unfamiliar area. Please do not stay here!!!!!

This motel is located in a quite place. The staff is really helpful. Its a great place to stay if you are traveling in hornell. I will definetely stay there again.

The staff was very nice and helpful. We took our dog with us and there was plenty of grassy areas for us to walk her. The room itself was musty and felt damp. I felt dirty just sitting on the bed. I saw a little patch of mold growing in the upper corner of the bathroom and was lucky that my allergies didn't kick in. I thought for a one night stay I would save myself some money and stay here rather than one of the other more expensive chain hotels, but I realize now that you get what you pay for.
