Great location if you're visiting Vanderbilt university or attending a game at the stadium, but a little out-dated and overpriced if you are looking for the downtown Nashville experience. Without knowing the layout of the city we thought the room price here meant nice, more modern hotel, BUT it's an old style Holiday Inn located walking distance from Vanderbilt stadium. Our first room selection was on the service floor--next to swinging doors, smelled like we were working in the kitchen (that didn't help). They were nice enough to find us another room. Nice staff, funky hotel.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving holiday. The location is great - it is actually right next to the stadium at Vanderbilt! There are restaurants, fast food, drug stores, even a Piggly Wiggly, all with a couple of blocks walking distance. We drove down to Broadway to hear some music, and it took maybe 5 minutes to get there. Each room has a balcony, which is nice. The rooms were clean and well furnished. They also have a shuttle that will take you many places nearby if you want to get out and not drive. We enjoyed having the car parked right outside the front entrance. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

I had one day in Nashville and used this hotel as a base. Very convienent to the Vandebilt community. Good restaraunts near by. Room was comfortable and staff was helpful.

I like the hotel, it was very clean, staff extremely friendly and if necessary I would stay there again, however, I do feel that the nightly rates are high in comparison to the room we were in. I would definitely look elsewhere first before staying there again. The internet did not work, there was a lot of static on the phones. We notified them several times about the internet because we needed access because we own a business in another state and we were unable to receive or send any emails while there.
