Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice hotel. The bathroom was very pleasant, the bed was pretty comfortable, and the desk and entertainment center were both grand and very nice. My problems with the place stemmed from the extremely thin door. I got there at about 8:45 in the evening and needed to be somewhere for work at 7:45 in the morning so I went straight to bed. I was very near the elevator, so the voices in the hall were pretty loud to begin with, but I am the world's hardest sleeper. However, I was awoken at about 11:15pm to children running up and down the hall playing soccer. Yes, soccer, in a hotel hall way. I called the front desk, they sent someone up and things quieted down for a while but I ended up having to call down twice more. I was not on very good terms with that thin door by morning. Overall, I think this hotel is just barely good enough to be rated a 4 star hotel.

Greatly enjoyed my stay at the Intercontinental Dallas. The lobby is spectacular, restaurant is excellent, and room was clean. Free gym and business center, as well as a host of other features. My only negative was the temperature control in the room. Found it to be rather cold. Needed to raise the thermostat to 80 degrees for the room to feel "normal". Aside from that, I would definitely come back and recommend to others visiting the Dallas, TX area.

The motel was absolutely wonderful. Staff was extremely helpful! We only stayed one nigh, so we weren't able to try many of the amenities, but we will certainly be back!
