I have stayed at this property several times in the last year and have found it to be clean, quiet with an pleasant, helpful staff. Contrary to another reviewers remark about oil field odors, I can report with certainty that there are none. I have family roots in Graham and know for a fact that there are no active well within miles of this fine property. I recommend this to anyone going to Graham, and find it to be a better value than the other chain hotel in town.

On 8/21/10, the mgr was the most rude motel employee I have ever encountered. Upon arrival, she informed me that I had canceled my reservation via phone that afternoon! And, furthermore, my husband had called after me to yell at them for charging us for the room! And, they had no rooms, and I was to be charged anyway! I told her we had not called and canceled. She insisted we had because they never in 8 yrs had made a mistake. She said on 2 occasions that "you can slit my throat & I will still not have anything available for you." Can you believe this? By this time I was so upset--livid. I offered that perhaps someone with a similar name had canceled. She insisted that no that wasn't the case...it was us that called, effectively calling me & my husband liars! I had made the online reservation on August 9 for 2 queens beds. The irony of the whole thing was that I had actually also made a reservation in Lubbock (our destination to take our son to move into Texas Tech), but had canceled that morning because it was a king/sofa room versus a queen/queen room in Post (38 miles outside of Lubbock). I thought our 6'4" son would be more comfortable on a queen versus a sofa. And, we were very tired after diving almost 500 miles! Well, somehow after an hour or so of this horrible woman, a handicap room became available. We took it. It was VERY uncomfortable because it was a king bed/5-foot lumpy cot. (Furthermore, unless you love the sulfur smell associated with oil fields - 20 yards away- DON'T STAY HERE! It permeated EVERYTHING.) We were over-billed in the morning. They never apologized! AWFUL! AWFUL!
