This hotel was very nice and clean. The location was great, easy access to bars, restaurants etc. Disappointed to find out at checkout that we were being charged to park in the parking garage. This is an upscale hotel and guests pay more than enough to stay and should not have to pay for parking. The most disappointing part was that we were not told up front.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. From the time I walked in the front door to the time I left I have NO complaints. I had a great view of the lobby/Riverwalk from my 5th floor room. The rooms were clean and everyone working there made you feel at home. I loved the Q bar.... Angel is an amazing bartender. It's a must you stop and visit her. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I make it back to San Antonio.

We stayed here this past weekend (7/21) for our anniversary. We live in San Antonio and stay on the Riverwalk 3-4 times a year for a “staycation.” This hotel was nice enough and our visit there was pleasant…until we tried to get our car from the valet. When we gave them our car number, we were told we were second in line. After waiting over 20 minutes we asked what was going on. They sent a guy to check on it and he never came back. Finally, I told them I would get it myself, expecting them to really rush to take care of the situation…Nope. They told me it was located in the deck across the street and to give my ticket to the lady there and she would give my keys. WOW. So that’s what I did. I don’t mind paying the $33/day for valet parking…but I do expect them to actually get my car.
Because of this experience I will never visit this hotel again and certainly wouldn’t recommend it.

Upon first arriving at this hotel, it appeared to be very nice. The lobby was immaculate and very attractive. But upon entering our room, we found that it was nice, but not very big. We were supposed to have two queen side beds, but did not appear to be queen size beds. The room itself was lukewarm and after calling the front desk, we were met by a very nice gentleman from maintenance. He admitted that the room cooling system was deficient and made arrangements to move to another room. This second room was a little better, but never got cold like we wanted it to. We had to have a fan placed in the middle of the room in order to help with the air. The room itself appeared to be small and my wife immediately complained that there were not enough outlets for her and our daughter's needs. e.g. hairdryers, flat irons, etc.... She also complained that there were not enough mirrors. The entire room contained one mirror in the bathroom and another one just outside the bathroom, but this second mirror had no outlet so we had to hook everything up from the outlet in the bathroom. Not good when you have three females in one room. We also found that the view from the second room we were moved to had an ugly view from our window. Upon looking out, all we could see was old rooftops and dirty alleys. We were also awakened by trash trucks in the alley picking trash up in the mornings. Not good. Oh, and we were never told that we had to pay for parking ahead of time. $27.00 a day aside from the room fee. That added up after a four night stay. The staff was very friendly and professional. But for the money that it cost us to stay, it was NOT worth it. We will NOT be staying there again. We expected alot nicer rooms and we were very disappointed. Not a good stay!
