We stayed here at the outset of a backpacking trip. It was off-season and therefore quite affordable. We wished we had had more time to sit on the deck and look at the river. We did check out the hot tub, and we loved the landscaping on the grounds. The room met all of our needs, and the location right next to the park can't be beat.

From the moment we pulled into the parking lot I knew this place would be special. The lodge feels very private, perfect for a romantic getaway. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the views are amazing.
Every room has a porch/patio with a great view of the gardens. The hot tub was a great way to relax after long hikes. There is a trail that follows along the creek to the park entrance, making everything very accessible.
I can't wait to go back.

The rooms are not deluxe, but clean and comfortable and met our expectations as advertised. The gardens and pool were the bonus stand out in my opinion. You can tell someone takes special care with the flower gardens and it's a welcome retreat after a day spent at Zion park. You can't beat the location. We walked to the park every day.

We loved the Cliffrose Inn. From the outside, it looks basically like a nice looking motel, but the inside is quite different!
We stayed in the new section, and had a beautiful, spacious and immaculate 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully equipped apartment, including a balcony with a really nice view - (I do not know what the rooms or apartments old section are like).
The grounds and swimming pool are very pretty, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
It is a short walk or (free) bus ride from the Clffrose to the entrance of Zion Park. But the hotel is also within walking distance of shops, restaurants and activities in town, which is one advantage of staying outside of the park.
One activity we particularly loved (outside of the park) was tubing on the river, which can be easily arranged by nearby adventure outfitters.
