This hotel is right down the street from Dulles Airport so I wasn't expecting much from a hotel in such a close proximity to said airport.
This Marriott is in such a great location, right in the middle of tons of places to eat, a movie theater, and several bars! You would think being right there in such a busy area it would be loud. I slept during the day and right through "rush hour". I didn't hear a thing, the noise that woke me up was my growling stomach!
Went next door to one to a Japanese grill then back to the airport.
Completely surpassed my expectations, have already recommended this hotel to coworkers for our travels into the area.

Let me start off by saying the rooms here are beautiful!! I was in love with the fact that I could put my son to sleep in the room and then walk out and watch movies with my friend. There are a TON of restaurants downstairs too which was a big plus. The breakfast in the morning was amazing as well!
The one thing I didn't like was that later in the evening after checking in, we got a call to our room saying they accidentally charged $*** to my debit card instead of their traditional $*** for their cautionary charge in case a pillow goes missing or something. They told us to stop by the front desk in the morning to have the issue taken care of. When we went down in the morning, the manager explained that since I paid (online, mind you) with my debit card, they charge for an additional night in case I should decide to stay again. She told me that the charge would not go through but would be pending in my account for a few days, That was Saturday, now Tuesday is over and I still have $** in my account that is not available to me. I'm not sure if it's actually customary or if she was lying to cover her butt. Why else would they call my room that night to tell us there was a mistake...
I also did not like having to pay for the internet. It seemed like they were trying to milk out every penny they could.

I got a super good price on my stay here, I think because they were renovating the lobby of the hotel at the time. It wasn't a problem at all. The rooms are completely beautiful! Very modern deco, super comfy bed, nice big TV's. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel has tons of eating options within walking distance. Loved my stay here!
