Our family of four stayed here on our way to Michigan because the rooms were suites and allowed for us to let the baby sleep while we unpacked and settled in. We were impressed with how easy it was to check in, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the exceptional breakfast. Most hotels do not have a very good continental breakfast, but this one was actually surprising. We are staying here again on our way home from our visit to Michigan, too. We never stay at the same place twice--but we are making an exception this time.

We were coming home from a family vacation with our two small kids. The ONLY reason that we chose this hotel was because they had a suite with 2 separate bedrooms. The adults just needed a break from sleeping in the same room with noisy kids. We arrived and within 10 minutes of being in the room (which was nice), something under the floor kicked on making a huge noise and making the entire room vibrate slightly. The room # is 213. Needless to say, we knew that we couldn't sleep through that noise so we asked about it and, sure enough, it was a water heater that cycled on and off. It isn't like they didn't know about the noise in the room. We asked to be moved but the only room available was a double with a kichenette (room 214 - Don't take it. It is at the top of the stairs to the lobby and the door keeps closing all night). It was late so we didn't want to try to move to a different hotel but it wasn't inexpensive for what I thought we got. This hotel really isn't any better than a Best Western or Clarion. The beds are hard. The walls and ceiling aren't sound proofed well so guests talking in the halls at 2 am and jumping around upstairs at midnight kept us up. The breakfast was OK but they talked it up quite a bit. Overall the staff was very nice but apologizing over and over gets old after a while. The Manager was very sorry about all our issues and offered to comp the room. I don't know if she did or not. I'm not above paying for even poor experiences (buyer beware) but I won't stay there again.

I stayed here with a group of seven for a girls' night. It was the perfect choice! We got the two-bedroom suite and a one-bedroom suite and could have just gotten the two-bedroom; it would have been a little cozy but the suite was great for our party. We enjoyed having the kitchen available for snacks and drinks. If you're planning on using the kitchen, note that there is a stovetop but no oven. There is even a dishwasher!
Overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for all of us. There are even Bath & Body Works products in the bathrooms--awesome!
We had a problem with our room keys not working (likely from keeping them in the same pocket as a cell phone) and the staff were very courteous and helpful about it. About the only "complaint" we had was that the pool and hot tub were a little small, but we were also the only ones using them, so that was okay. Would definitely recommend staying here long-term or just for a night or two!
Staff made us feel welcome and we had 2 small dogs with us. Kids loved the break

Staff was excellent with our kids and 2 small dogs! My camera batteries had died and they gave me some to have so i did not have to go get any. Kids loved the morning buffet and also the picnic served in the evening. Lobby very comforable with chess set and large screen TV with surround sound. Only downside was the indoor pool was a bit too small but our kids 9 and 12 enjoyed the outdoor play area with mini golf, and basketball.
