The hotel and staff were not what the name implies..Very disappointed. Although the room appeared to be clean, the general condition of the room and the facility left us with an overall feeling that it wasn't clean. The desk clerk needs some training on good customer service!!! It felt like I was bothering her by checking in. Weary travelers need a lot more TLC! Carpet had big burn marks and about a 3 foot by 2 foot area that the color was worn off (stain removal??); lampshade needed to be replaced -- looked filty. Bedspread had burnholes, just overall shabby. Was embarassed by my selection, especially since we had guests with us! We couldn't give the restaurant a chance since there was not a table (available) for 4 people. It was nice, but much more like a neighborhood bar atmosphere. No one offered to seat us or make arrangements, so we left and ended up at DQ, which wasn't good since it was my husband's birthday. Corproate should take a look at this place and upgrade!!!! The water pressure in the shower was wonderful though!
