Upon arrival at the Comfort Inn the service was fine; however, the bed in the room looked unmade and the floor was covered in stains. The first night I realized that when exiting my room the door would not lock from the outside. I reported the issue to the front desk and they were unable to assist. The next morning I reported the issue again for fear of leaving the room exposed, with my personal belongings in it, all day while I was out. Two gentlemen did arrive at the room quickly; however, could not find a solution so instructed me to just slam the door. I did and the door locked. That evening I came to the room and it was unlocked. I called and asked for a manager. She indicated maintenance had gone home for the night and agreed to switch my room. The room they switched me to was a down-grade from the original.

Upon Arrival to this hotel I was greeted by a sign at the front desk that stated back in 10 mins. I saw the clerk through a window in the office reading. While standing at front desk , male clerk came out and asked my"last name"?, Was not greeted with any kind of welcome or kind greeting. Hotel has no elevators and our room was on the 2nd floor and I have a bad back. Needless to say --not happy about that. Construction going on different parts of the hotel too --annoying. Beds were extremely small and very uncomfortable. Stairs were sticky. Message light on phone kept blinking for a message and I called the front desk to turn off and they said they did . It kept blinking; so I Unplugged the phone for the night. Breakfast was just Ok. Quality of food not good. Garbage containers full around lobby area and trash sticking out of them. We will not return to this Hotel ever.

The staff was attendant, friendly and courteous. The room was clean, organized. Overall I will stay there again on my next trip.
