Hatchet Resort - Reviews

The pictures on the email were so beautiful and I was so excited to stay there. That lasted only 5 minutes. The man working at the front desk was not friendly or helpful. We arrived at 4:30p.m. and our room or should I say closet wasn't clean yet. The room had a double bed with only six inches to move around it. One window, no ventilation, no fans, no air conditioner. 80degrees at 9:00p.m. in the room. Room was infested with mesquitoes, and owner offered to give us spray. Room had no refrigerator, microwave or hair dryer. Very few tv channels. WIFI did not work in room like they said it would. Jacuzzi was broken, and filthy with bugs. The room had 3 mouse traps in the room, very comforting. We wanted a refund but they refused to let us cancel our 2nd night or give us a refund. The second night their was a rodent in the walls chewing all night long. Very unsatisfactory, this is not a resort but a slum hotel. VEry expensive!
