Stayed in June 2011. Positives: Cute hotel close to river and on main strip near attractions. Room was really pretty with wood-appearing cabinets/closets on part of one wall...I haven't seen a hotel with that type of decor. Also had nice kitchen area with microwave off the bathroom. Nice pool and dining areas too. Biscuits and gravy were very good along with other normal breakfast fare. Fast repair service. Negatives: We had a room around the pool....very noisy but also nice to be able to monitor my neice. Bathroom very small. Had to have shower activator on top of tub nozzle fixed. Electronic door keys didn't work when we first arrived with an armload of stuff and failed to work again after new keys issued. Finally, entire mechanism replaced. Reason it didn't work per maintenance man was "moisture from pool". Lots of ducks in back parking lot which didn't seem to want to move when cars wanted to drive through them. Overal, my favorite hotel so far in the area (also stayed at Country Cascades & the other Econolodge)

We stayed here one night and it is a nice hotel. The bed was comfortable and seemed new. The room had a nice nook area where the fridge and microwave where with plenty of counter space. There were also kitchen cabinets under the countertop.
The only bad thing was that the floor of the tub was black from soap scum. So we stood on a towel to shower. The carpet was pretty worn too. Our room faced the river so it was quiet. With all of the traffic and the fact that the hotel is only about 30 ft from the main roadway I would definately suggested getting a room facing the river. There is a CVS pharmacy across the street. And of course plenty of places to eat.
