The room was really impressive. It had some of the best room lighting I had ever seen in a hotel. There was lots of space, a kitchen and a closing door between two suite areas. The kids loved the complimentary rubber duckie!
The bathtub was best used as a shower because it was triangular and the water flowed so slowly even the most determined didn't have the patience to fill the tub. The triangle shape included a seat in one corner. Interesting design.
Free breakfast was average to good and in a small room.
Bottom sheets wouldn't stay on the mattresses. Bedding seemed old and the mattresses seemed ancient to my delicate back. Two out of the five of us were bothered by the mattress quality.
The pool was nice but became full of people quickly.
Based on what else is available in the Soo area, this is one of the best bets. Would stay there again and recommend with some reservations.

The hotel was clean, nice and there was a decent breakfast there. The rooms are small though compared some other hotels in the area and the blankets are horrible!!! If you are staying for a few days it may be worth it to up the few extra bucks for a larger room. The staff was nice though and there is computer downstairs you can use if you need to or don't have your own.

Have stayed here previously. Newer hotel kept in very good shape. Clean rooms w/double beds. Front desk was friendly at check-in and check-out. Small but nice pool and whirlpool and sauna. One of the better saunas that we have used when traveling. Very good continental breakfast with make your own waffles, rolls, variety of toasts and drinks. Will stay here again when visiting daughter studying at Lake Superior State University.
