The room was small and alternately too hot or chilly. While the room was clean, the sheets smelled strongly of chlorine bleach -- not the best odor to sleep in. When I went down for the continental breakfast, I had to wait to be seated by the hostess. When I said I was alone, the hostess snarled, "Well, that's a problem." When seated, I selected items for breakfast, which was provided by those hosting the wedding. The waitress poured my coffee, then announced, "You're all set, except for the gratuity." I did not think this was an appropriate comment, especially since it was printed on the ticket. That night, a waiter in the bar sprayed someone in our party as he cleaned the bar. She startled and commented and he instead of apologizing, got defensive, saying, "Fine, then I'll leave the counter dirty" as he strode away. The woman cleaning the room was helpful and kind -- we were traveling with an infant, so she provided extra washcloths. But overall, this was a hotel experience that I will try to forget.
