Thank you Arien and Diana !! My wife and I recently stayed at Casa Valeria for nine days. We never been to the Dominican Republic and planned our trip by trip advisors reviews. We read Casa Valeria was number two hotel in Sosua and are sooo glad we stayed there. From the moment we arrived the owners Arien and Diana and the rest of the staff made us feel like family. The rooms were wonderful, (only about nine), a very small quaint hotel. The room had a outdoor seating area opening up to the pool and wonderful landscaping. I t made you feel as if you were sitting in a rain forest. The maids were very pleasant and professional. The major thing I overlook is the location. Though the hotel is very quiet, the nightlife is a two minute walk and the famous beaches are less then ten minute walk. We had a retal car and Arien was very helpful with directions and places of interest for day trips.
We were planning to go to Costa Rica next year, but remembering our experience at Casa Valeria we may change our minds and go back.
