I was too busy to really enjoy the place during my visit but the hotel seems to be a place people congregate and have a good time. The roof deck pool was beautiful and I'm looking forward to returning at a time when I can actually swim in it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. I loved the big chair right by the window but there was no other place for anyone to sit except for the bed. Another chair would have been great. The bathroom was huge and the cocoon shower was fun.

Beautiful view from our room. Room was very modern and clean. Roofdeck pool was awesome. I would stay there again.

Stayed in a studio king. More space than me and my wife needed (over 500 sq. ft.) We walked to the white house and lincoln/vietnam memorials from the hotel. About 3 miles round trip. The room was clean and very modern. There was a small delay getting a valet both when we arrived and when we left, but other than that, no complaints.

The Donavan Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was located about five blocks from the tourist venues, ie, White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument. The location was very convenient for sightseeing and close to the tour buses that take you to those locations. I feel however, the parking should have been included in the price of the hotel.
