This hotel met my expectations and then some. It was beautiful, well kept, spacious, accomodating, and had amazing views of the ocean. We stayed in a 2 bedroom queen oceanview room. It was a low rate, the beds were very comfortable, and the room included 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a living room, a full kitchen, and a dining area. Not to mention each bedroom and the living room had a sliding patio door to the balcony that wrapped around to each room. It was perfect!!!

The Anderson Ocean Club and Spa is the perfect upscale hotel when you want a special time "away from it all". The staff was very professional and accommodating. We requested a room upgrade, and it was made immediately. We had a very unusual item that needed to be stored, and they went out of their way to find a way to accommodate us. Valet parking is a very reasonable $8 per night. The hotel is, literally, on the beach. It is within an easy walk of the Sea Captain's House, one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever been to. It is a slightly longer walk to the boardwalk, with the souvenir shops, ferris wheel, etc. The only slight "hiccups" occurred when we wanted to check out early Sunday morning. There were no parking attendants at work yet, so I had to go across the street to find our vehicle. Also, only three of their seven luggage carts were in working condition, and none were available, so we had to make multiple trips to get everything loaded. We would not hesitate to stay there again when we return to Myrtle Beach.

The room was up to date and fairly clean. The kitchen was well equiped. Nice view of the ocean. The "lazy river" and pools were much smaller than we thought they would be. We never used them. In an area/strip of hotels only. Finding someplace to eat was a bit of a challenge. We did not have a car on this trip. Restaurants were several blocks away. We wanted to make use of the kitchen but could not find any grocery stores or mini marts within walking distance. So, we paid more in taxi fare than anticipated.

This hotel, staff and location was very good. The pool area lacks enough beach chairs, but other than that, this is a very nice...very clean operation. I would not hesitate to recomend and stay at this location again.
