    Stayed at Katahdin Cabins in late December ('08) for three nights. Had a great stay. Our cabin was plenty big enough for our party of four. Very comfortable beds and in-room refrigerator and microwave came in handy. We used the cabins as a base camp for our day trips into Baxter State Park. The park is about 18 miles from the cabins. The hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. Homemade muffins in the morning and fresh cookies in the afternoon - very nice touch. If you are looking for friendly, clean and affordable place to stay near Baxter State Park, we would highly recommend Katahdin Cabins.
