I've stayed at a lot of B&Bs in the Phila area, but I have never felt more at home. A great vibe is the best way I can describe it. This is not a pristine, fru-fru place, rather a very comfortable and a bit funky (in the good way) victorian gem. And the innkeeper, Cindi, Pulls it all together and makes it work. Beautiful town for a walk along the Delaware River (with it's row of grand victorians!). Good to plan this after the fabulous breakfast, prepared and served by Cindi herself.

This is one of the best B8B experiences we've had! The River Line Inn is a sweet old-fashioned gem that's rare in the Philadelphia area. It's right across from the commuter railroad (which was extremely quiet -- never heard a thing), that can take you to downtown Philadelphia within a few minutes. Stay here, leave your car, and don't worry about dealing with the traffic and parking problems in the city. Very convenient.
The Inn is in a very nice area - a historic area, across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, in Riverton, New Jersey. Rooms were not expensive. It was like arriving at home at the end of the day, all in all a wonderful experience. Next time we're in the area, we'll make sure to stay here again.
