Thank you for considering Big Bear Bed & Breakfast for your Alaska trip plans. Since 1990 we have enjoyed sharing our home and Alaska with guests. I plan a different breakfast menu for each day or return visit so guests have the opportunity to try a variety of Alaskan products, traditional regional cuisine and wild berry specialties. Our home-stay B&B is smoke, fragrance and pet free. All hotels and B&Bs in Anchorage, are required to charge & collect a 12% bed tax, which is added to the stated rate. The single rate, for all rooms, is $10. less than listed rates, children 5 or under are free. I offer a 10% Senior Citizens Discount to guests 65+ years of age. We are looking forward to having you as our guests. We enjoy providing our guests with a "taste" of Alaska, both with food and surroundings, and sharing our Old Fashioned Alaskan Hospitality.
