I stayed in Aug. 2011. The rooms were all being updated (I was told some were still using the older comforters, but the mattresses and pillows along with paint had all been updated. The property was bought in 2009 and has improved a good amount. Great value for the money!!!

The price was not bad for the hotel as it was, but I would never stay there again. The mattresses were from the Drury Inn. The Drury In is next door and it was only * dollars more there. We have always stayed with Best Western in other locations, but this hotel is an old outdated Motel. The staff was good, but the rooms were gross... Once you turn the covers back and see the name of the hotel next door stamped on it, you feel like someone picked the garbage and brought in the old mattresses, but once you lay on them, you know why the hotel was throwing them out. The pillows were the same, I think they were old used pillows from somewhere else. The carpet, charis and bed linens were damp and musty. I was extremely embarrassed to bring some other guests with us that had not really ever stayed in a hotel before. I explained that I have never stayed in a hotel like that before, and that it was more of a Motel with the entrances on the outside of the building. I am also sending these comments to Best Western corporate offices.
