Portugal Bike - The Ancient Medieval Villages - Reviews

I took this cycling tour in late October to early November this year (2012) and enjoyed it immensely. Cristina and Jose provided top quality hosting and guiding services with a personal touch. The bicycles which they provided were of very good quality. The accommodations were excellent, ranging from small hotels to former convents which now function as pousadas, all located conveniently in or nearby the medieval fortified villages which we visited. The tour included daily picnic lunches which were organized expertly by Cristina, usually in idyllic settings. Dinners were also included; the food provided was of high quality and there was lots of it, including great desserts. I would highly recommend this tour to people who love cycling and would like to see the Portuguese countryside.
