Two Weeks in Paradise

We recently enjoyed a 2 week holiday at Nature's Paradise, Marigot Bay in St Lucia. It was incredible.
The views from our cottage were breathtaking and sunsets by the pool inspiring.
The owners, David and Wanda Wallace were the ultimate hosts - a dazzling array of fresh fruit, breads and coffee greeted us every morning. Nothing was too much trouble - we were really made to feel at home.
It was great staying in a cottage rather than a large hotel complex - we had so much privacy and so much space all to ourselves - we began to think of the pretty little white cottage as our own. It was fully equipped with everything we could need - sipping rum cocktails on our terrace looking out to sea was wonderful!
The area is fantastic - waterfalls, beaches and great local bars and restaurants.
It really was a taste of paradise. The only down side is that once you arrive you will never want to leave.
Seclusion and Million Dollar Views

My wife & I spent our honeymoon at Nature's Paradise. We were immediately impressed by the beauty of their botanical garden and the views from high up on a cliff overlooking Marigot Bay and the ocean. Breakfast is served at 8am every morning and Wanda prepares fresh fruits (mango, banana, papaya) as well as baked breads and amazing coffee. Nature's Paradise offers seclusion and privacy. The cottages are very spacious and comfortable and the balconies are large and a great place to relax. The pool (which is open 24 hours) is lovely and gives view to the most amazing sunsets.
David is extremely knowledgeable about the island and loves to help you decide your trip's itinerary. My wife and I took the Soufriere tour (David is the tour guide) which was capped off by amazing lunch at Ladera and also hiked Gros Piton. Having the rental car allows you to go anywhere you like. Marigot Bay is a small, clean, and quiet bay. It is beautiful and has to be one of the best spots to stay on the island.
The Beauty of St. Lucia

Our one regret about staying at Natures Paradise is that it wasn't twice as long. The beauty of St. Lucia is exceptional & largely unspoiled. Wanda and Dave have accentuated this beauty with their exceptional plantings and landscaping. It gives their place the peaceful, private & exquisite beauty you won't find elsewhere. The cottages have large, lovely verandas that overlook the Caribbean with complete privacy. Dave & Wanda are experts in making vacationers feel welcome. They served lovely breakfasts to start the day.
I miss swimming in the pool, surrounded by beautiful foliage overlooking the Caribbean, and just spending the time relaxing. This place is a "must see" and definitely on the return visit list.

We could not have asked for a better way to start our honeymoon on St. Lucia! We stayed in one of the two cottages. It was very private and had an amazing view that overlooked Marigot Bay. Our cottage had a 4-poster canopy bed draped with mosquito netting, a kitchen, sitting area, and large bathroom. The property is hidden with lots of beautiful tropical plants, and you feel as though you are in a jungle. My husband & I enjoyed the pool. It overlooked the ocean. We usually ended our day of adventures by making a rum drink & swimming in the pool together. Absolute paradise! There is a small restaurant we ate at each night called Chateau Mygo. The food was delicious, authentic, & the service was outstanding.
Breakfast each morning was wonderful. We had fresh baked bread, local fruits & strong coffee, my kind of breakfast.
I highly recommend David’s Soufriere tour. He was very knowledgeable and took us to places where mostly locals go. Nature's Paradise is also located close to Anse Le Raye which has an amazing fish fry on Friday nights. My husband and I had a blast eating different seafood, dancing, and drinking on the street. I highly recommend Nature's Paradise!
