We had such a great time and enjoyed our stay at "Bananas" very much! There is nothing better than Marlon serving Belikins and making rum punch and margaritas at the "Wind Tunnel Bar" happy hour! (If you go, you'll know why I call it that.) The staff was great, always cheerful, and very responsive to our requests. The food at El Divino was very good, if a little pricey. Breakfast is included with 6-7 different selections and was perfect for us... the fresh fruit was wonderful! The staff at Monkey Business Tours were so accommodating and willing to do whatever they could to make our trip everything we imagined it would be. The grounds are lovely, the beach area is beautiful (and the fact they have a seawall is a "pro" as it keeps the beach clean of most of the sea grass that washes up on the other beaches nearby), and the fact that the tour boats pick you up right from dock at the beach is so convenient. The only negatives, if there were any, were that the decking by one of the pools could use replacing, and the tiles in the bath tub area in our room could stand re-grouting. Banana Beach is a small resort, very intimate, and it's easy to get to know the staff and other guests... you're not just another face. All in all, we had a super vacation and would definitely stay at Bananas again!

Banana Beach Resort is a nice quaint resort. Beautiful scenery, wonderfully pleasant staff. The only negative would be the boardwalk thru the courtyard needs to be upgraded to the composite type of decking for lasting results. I would definitely stay there again.

We visited for Lobsterfest and had the best time in years! Banana Beach is clean, staff is great, access to dive shop with snorkling, scuba, and fishing! The resturant has the best cerviche, steak, and lobster on the island! Local walk to numerous fruit stands, bars, and local shops in town. Golf carts are mode of transportation to haul your goodies back to your hide-a-way! Great fun at Banana Beach! Everyone we met were repeat customers from all over the USA and Canada.
