Active Adventurekeyboard_double_arrow_up
The Middle Fork of the Salmon has it all. It is considered by many to be the premier multi-day river trip in the US. It combines fantastic scenery with riverside hotsprings, exciting class III and IV whitewater, and incredible side hikes, waterfalls, and Native American petroglyphs on a 5-6 day trip. River rafting on the Rogue River, a fun class III, 3-5 day trip that is great for families. Wildlife abounds on the Rogue and the fishing is excellent. Guests love the Rogue because of the incredible scenery, wonderful campsites, exciting wildlife (otters, bears, salmon, osprey, deer, eagles). Those looking for more whitewater excitement can paddle an inflatable kayak, while guests interested in a more relaxing trip can take a ride on an oar boat. Camp and Lodge options are available on trips.
Typical Daykeyboard_double_arrow_up
On both the Rogue and the Middle Fork, a typical day involves enjoying a delicious, hot breakfast cooked in camp by the guides, then heading downstream taking either an oar boat (relax or fish), a paddle boat (paddle to get the boat through the rapids), or an inflatable kayak (paddle your own ducky). We stop at interesting spots along the river for a side hike, jumping rock, hot springs, or Native American site. A fresh lunch is served along the way. In camp, dinner is prepared by the guides and there are various options for in-camp activities including horseshoes, koob, hiking, reading, relaxing, swimming, fishing, campfires (if the permit allows), and hot springs (on the Middle Fork).
Age range, type of groupkeyboard_double_arrow_up
Our company prides itself on catering to trips for friends and families. We can take kids 7 and up and seniors as long as they are physically able to maneuver around the rafts and campsites. This makes the trips excellent options for family reunions or special occasions. The trips can be as active as you want to make them and there's plenty of time to relax in camp along a gorgeous scenic river.
