Seward is a historic fishing town. It is the beginning and the end. It is surounded by 4000 foot tall mountains and it sits right on the ocean. It has a cruise ship terminal and a passenger train depot. Mainly people come to Seward to fish, but kayaking, dogsledding, wildlfe/whale watching glacier cruises, hiking, biking, skiing, snow machining (Sleds), Alaska Sealife Center, Exit Glacier, are also very popular. The hotel is located down town a half mile from the boat harbor and is centrally located among all the local businesses, restaurants and pubs.

We are a small boutique hotel w/ 2 wings. The Historic Wing (1906) and the newer Alaskan Wing. We have 8 different room styles ranging from 2 twin beds with a shared bath option (economy) or a single Queen bed with your own bath on the Historic side. As for the Alaskan Wing, (1987) the rooms are much larger and will allow 2 Queen beds or a single King with full bath and shower. The hole hotel has been refurbished when the new owners took over in 2007.
