Mogalakwena Research Centre is an independent research entity based in the remote North-Western part of limpopo province, South Africa. The research centre was established in 2006 to document, to research and to further understanding and knowledge in the fields of ecology and anthropology in South Africa. Research is conducted at the Eco-centre and Craft art village, both situated within walking distance on mogalakwena river reserve. We facilitate research in our area by providing study opportunities, assisting with logistical and field work and by maintaining a research friendly environment for students, researchers and volunteers. We cater for researchers pursuing projects that can make use of the ecological, anthropological and social entrepreneurial study resources located at mogalakwena reserves.
