Croc Valley Camp is situated on the banks of the picturesque Luangwa River, 500 meters outside the entrance of the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. Set in riverine forest, the camp offers a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of its surroundings. An abundance of wildlife such as elephants, monkeys, hippos and a wide variety of antelope pass through the camp on a regular basis.
Accommodations
The Camp is completely environmentally friendly and offers affordable budget accommodation with both full board and self-catering options. It provides camping facilities, dorm rooms and backpacker tents as well as self-catering chalets and spacious on-suite river tents. The campsite is well catered for campers and overland trucks with parking areas, summer huts, self-catering kitchens, power points, hot showers and ablutions.
Amenities
Croc Valley Camp provides a bar and a restaurant, which are open until 21:30 and offer perfect views of the river and its wildlife. The menu includes small snacks, sandwiches and full course meals, which are made from original recipes and fresh ingredients. The large outdoor swimming pool is perfect for sun bathing and cooling off, hammocks are scattered around the camp for lazing around and watching the wildlife activities at the river. Guests are also welcome to use the gym, which is equipped with rubber mats and a variety of training gagdets such as a cycling and multipurpose cable machine, a boxingbag, weightlifting and vanity mirrors. A free WIFI Voucher will be given to the guests at arrival.
Services Offered
Croc Valley Camp offers Morning and Night Game Drives (4 hours duration each) as well as escorted Walking Safaris and Community visits.
