1)Panchgani
Panchgani is a famous hill station which atrracts many tourists throughout the year. A well known Ganesh Temple is located close by in Wai. This town is mainly famous for its schools. (Only a 1.5 hours drive from Manntra).
2)Mahabaleshwar
Today, Mahabaleshwar is a famous torist destination with a cultural heritage of old 7 beautiful temples & also British Buildings ( Only 2 hours drive from Manntra ).
3)Bhatghar Dam - 30 Min.

4)Palace Of Pantsachiv - 45 Min.
The town of Bhor, once the capital of the princely state, is located about 40 kilometres south of Pune, adjacent to Bhatghar dam. The royal palace is still present. Early morning light coming in through the kitchen window (Chul or Bhatarkhana) at the Pantasachiv Rajwada (Palace) at Bhor. Situated among the higher peaks of the Western Ghats.
5)Purandar Fort - 60 Min.
Purandar is about 40kms south-east of Pune. Purandar was besieged by the mighty Mughal forces under the command of Jai Singh and Dilir Khan. In the ensuing battle Murar Baji Prabhu, the gallant commander of the fort, was killed. Shivaji, under a treaty, had to surrender to the Mughals his 23 forts, including Purandar and Vajragarh.. Arrangements for accommodation and food are also available at affordable rates.
6)Lake Of Padmavati
Facing north this has Padmavati Temple, Padmavati Lake, chor darwaja, Pali darwaja, Gunjavane darwaja, Daru Kothar (storage of arms and ammunition) and remains of the castle.
7)Balaji Temple - 45 Min.
Balaji Temple near Pune around 45 mins from Pune. The temple is very well maintained and if you visit quite early in the day (they open at 5 AM). You can see the main deity in a matter of minutes whereas on a weekend or in the later half of the day, quite a queue builds up. In summer, the ground gets really hot and it can be quite an experience to reach the comfort of the shade from the point where you leave your slippers.
