How successful your listing does depends partially on the quality and quantity of information you provide to potential customers. To help you, we have put together a suite of standard tools and features that come with every listing and will help you sell your products & services:

Unlimited information	Write as much as you need to describe your property or service, restrictions, rates, and other information.
Up to 26 images per listing	Illustrate your listing with photographs, and maps to make it come alive and give potential customers a taste of what they can expect.
Regional and local maps	Every listing includes links to regional, local and street level maps of your property/service. Maps are provided by MapBlast. Please note that some maps outside of the United States may not be available or accurate.
Local weather	Weather forecasts of your local area. Forecasts are provided by Weather Underground and may not be available for all areas.
Currency converter	Helps visitors from around the world convert from their currency to yours.
Automatic submission to major search engines	Our system will automatically submit your information to the major search engines on a periodic basis.
Reservation E-Mail	Potential customers contact you directly for more information and to make reservations. Your e-mail address is protected until you respond to the customer.
Access and update your information 24 hours/day, 7 days/week	Keep your information current with the latest pricing and availability. Your changes are reflected immediately.
E-Postcards	Free tool that helps you promote your business to prospective customers with graphical e-mail messages. Use it to keep in touch with past guests, build repeat business or let customers know about specials and discounts.
Real-time statistics	At any time, you can access your listing to see how many people have seen the summary information, viewed the full listing, sent e-postcards or inquired about reservations.
Link to your web page	Customers are directed to your website for more information. You do not have to have your own webpage.

Our listings start at US $149.95/year. We now require all listings to subscribe to our services in order to help cover the cost of marketing your listing to potential customers. Our costs are distributed over many listings so that each incurs only a small cost compared to what they would pay if they advertised on their own.

When you enter your listing, you are required to select a 'primary category' that best fits the products and services you offer. Each category actually consists of two parts, the 'General Category' and the 'Specific Type'.

The 'General Category' is used to broadly differentiate travel businesses. For instance Accommodations from Adventure Tours and Articles from Cruises. After you pick one of the 'General Category' selections, the Specific Types will instantly be updated to reflect the appropriate choices.

The 'Specific Type' helps to further define your business and distinguish it from others in the General Category. For instance, a Bed & Breakfast from a Vacation Rental - both in the Accommodation category.



Try to select the category closest to your business because the selection will affect the type of information you can enter on later screens. It is possible to change the category in the future, but that may have an adverse effect on your information.

If your company offers services that fall into more than one category, select the most appropriate one for now and you will have an opportunity to select secondary categories later.

The first step is to register your company on RealAdventures by creating a listing. It's an easy process, but may take some time, especially if you want your listing to be a comprehensive description of your property or service, complete with pictures.
