The Thomas House Bed and Breakfast reflects the comfortable, homey atmosphere that has kept it a haven for weary travelers for over a century. The house is decorated with our family heirlooms and collecibles, as well as antiques and modern day funishings for a truly eclectic experience. Outdoors you will find spacious decks, a well groomed yard, a huge hot tub and maybe even our two dogs Spud and Blue as well as our outdoor cat PJ. Each room is individually decorated with comfort in mind. Some feature handmade quilts, all have private baths and have access to a common sitting room with a kitchenette and television. We have a two room suite with its own kitchenette and televion and a cottage with a full kitchen and television. Both the suite and cottage are perfect for families.

About 2 1/2 hours travel time. Take Highway 115 South to Penrose then highway 50 West to Salida. Coming into town turn right onto Hwy 291. Hwy 291 turns into 1ST Street. We are on your left on the corner of 1ST and D Streets.

About 3 hours travel time. Take Hwy 285 South out of Denver. Stay on 285 until you reach Hwy 291 about 15 miles South of Johnsons Village. Turn left onto Hwy 291 and follow it into Salida. Hwy 291 and 1ST Steet are the same. We are on your left on the corner of 1ST and D Streets.
