Perched atop 3 acres of tall pines and maples and surrounded by an overflowing perennial garden sits this wonderful 3 story, 1910 American Foursquare (of Frank Lloyd Wright fame). As is fitting, the formal rooms on the first floor are decorated in the Arts&Crafts/Mission style. The 4 guestrooms on the 2nd floor each have their own individual style but all feature private full baths within the room. Breakfasts are four course gourmet events, there's a daily tea featuring home-made goodies and each night, your host turns down the bed and leaves a carafe of water and chocolates at bedside. Taconic State Parkway to Hillsdale/Claverack (Route 23) offramp. Follow signs to Hillsdale (8 miles). At traffic light, make left onto Route 22 north. Go one mile, see yellow oval sign for Honored Guest and road that only goes left (Hunt Road). Take the left and come immediately up the driveway.
