K3 Guest Ranch Bed & Breakfast has been a small cattle ranch for over 18 years but we sold all our cattle a few years ago. Being a small ranch, horses are not a necessity. Stormy and Zip are our two trick horses that perform tricks for our guests. Along with their mother, Shelly, they have become family and add to the fun on the ranch. Both horses shake hands, lie down, play dead and sit up like a dog. They think they are humans and mix with our guests like real stars! Today the K3 raises about 45-50 ton of good quality horse hay, more than enough to feed our three horses so we sell the rest of the hay to friends and neighbors. K3 Guest Ranch was started as a hobby by Jerry Kinkade in 1980 but now it has become a fun Bed & Breakfast to entertain guests from all over the world. There's plenty to do at the K3. There are miles of hiking, mountain bike or ATV trails nearby to explore, or wet your line for native Cutthroat, Rainbow and Brown trout. If you bring your own horses, we have clean corrals, good water and plenty of fresh feed.
