Program: HUNZA - BATURA TREK AND TOUR TO THE VALLEY:This program allows you to discover the regions of North Pakistan in different dimensions. It is also an opportunity to meet the local people, touch their culture and warm hospitality with simple way of life and gives unique experience by sightseeing of towns with different tribes and wonderful nature where the Himalayas, the Karakuram and the Hindu-Kush ranges meet together. Also mix up with local population of roof of the world. The highlight of this trip is TREKKING on BUTURA GLACIER and explores the HUNZA VALLEY, which comprises of number of villages; Karimabad is the capital of ancient kingdom of Hunza Valley is like stage setting. The attractive Valley is encircled with mountains as Ulter Peak 7238 m, Rakaposhi 7788 m, Diran Peak 7256 m and Golden Peak 7027 m, undoubtedly the most prominent and well known mountains in Gilgit/Hunza area. Hunzakuts are famed for long longevity, some to over 100 years. Until 1974 Hunza was an independent kingdom, greatly isolated from the rest of the world until the completion of the Karakuram Highway to CHINA in 1978. The people of Hunza are Islimies follower of Aga Khan and as known open-minded, progressive and well integraded with the change of modern society such as the female education are considered to be more important. We will travel on the Karakuram Highway, 8th wondrous of the world, also called the Silk Route, on the footstep of Marco-polo. The Karakuram Highway leads to China via Khunjerab Pass 4733 m, opened in 1982. It is the world highest paved boarder crossing. This is modern wonder of the world, 900 km in length with its end trail into China also known as a friendship Highway between China and Pakistan. HUNZA-BUTRA TREK:The Batura trek is the most accessible of giant Karakuram Glaciers from Karakuram Highway. It stretches west about 65km with more than 10 peaks above 7000 m. This trek is an easy stroll along a flower-filled gully between the lateral moraine of the Batura Glacier and the mountains. It is one of the finest in the Karakuram with beautiful landscape and no major difficulties. Most of the trek is through ablation valley along streams, with almost no steep sections. The mountain views of Batura, Passu and Shispar Peak superb. The Passu women who spend the summer in the pastureland beside the glacier are friendly to female trekkers. Spending time with Passu people and their yaks in the patsure allows a glimpse into their unique way of montain life. The views of six Batura Peaks and the huge ice-fall from them to the glacier below are among the more remarkable mountain scenes in the Karakuram. ITINERARY:Day-01: Arrival to Islamabad airport and transfer to hotel, in the rest time of sightseeing in Islamabad and Rawalpini, visit of largest mosque in Asia and old local Bazaar Day-02: Drive to Chilas (11-12hrs) on the Karakuram Highway, overnight at hotel in Chilas, view of Nanga Parbat 8125 m if the weather is clean for a good visiblity.Day-03: Continue to Karimabad via Gilgit 6-7hrs lunch at Gilgit on the way to Karimabad, a very closed view of Rakaposhi 7788m from Karakuram Highway, visit to the Karimabad village, mix up with local people. Overnight at hotelDay-04: The visit of historical Baltit Fort 700 years ago on the moraines of Ultar Glacier towering over the town of Karimabad facing the Rakaposhi Peak, which has been restored by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture with help of a French architecture. This Fort truly represents the socio-cultural, political and economic dynamism of former princely state.Aslo visit to the Altit Village, the Altit Fort is older than Baltit Fort, which is more impressive but needed to be restored. There is beautiful view of Hunza River and Ultar Peak. From the roof of Fort, the houses of local inhabitant can be seen closely.Day-05: Then drive to Passu (2400m) 2 hrs drives, on the way to Passu visit Ganish sacred inscriptions of the Budhist Moinks who travelled on Silk Route in 4th century, visit of Gulmit local Museum, lunch at Pussu and prepartion of the trek for next day. Overnight at hotelDay-06: Trek 4-5 hrs to Yunzben,/campDay-07: Easy trek of one hour on the glacier and 3-4 hrs treks to the Ujhopirt 2900m/campDay-08: Trek 3-4 hrs to Yashprit 3100m, there is summer huts of the Passu people, staying during the summer with their cattles/campDay-09: 4-5 hrs treks to Fatmahill 3270m, a fancinating view of Batura Peak 7740 with thunder avalanches in the benging of the summer/campDay-10: Trek 3-4 hrs to Guchesham 3400m, is the highest summer settlement of sheperds, mostly best pasture for yaks and local exploration, meet with local shepherds and taste the local cheese and yacurt, easy contact with the local people and another option is go higher up to the 4000mDay-11: Trek back to the Ujhokpin/campDay-12: Trek to the Passu and continue to Karimabad/hotelDay-13: Drive to Rakiot Bridge then jeep drive to Tato and 2 hrs trek to Fairy Meadow, overnight in the tentDay-14: Drives to Besham. Travel on Karakorum Highway alon with Indus Riverupto Besham, Indus is the third longest river in Asia, the source of Indus is Mont Kalash in Ladakh and flow the gorges of Karakorum and plains of Punjab and finally falls in the Arabian SeaDay-15: Continue to Islamabad 6-7 hrs, overnight at IslamabadDay-16: Departure from Islamabad, drop to the airport

HIKING AND CAMPING
IN THE NATURE OF HIMALAYA AND KARAKORAM

Day-01 Islamabad:
Arrival to Islamabad airport, we will receive you at the airport with respect to your flight and arrival time, transfer to the hotel, in the balance of time sightseeing of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Visit to Shah Faisal Mosque, Daman-e-Koh, Markets in Islamabad, Rawalpindi Bazaars like Raja Bazaar, overnight at the hotel.
Day-02 Chilas:
Drive to Chilas 460 km and (13-14 hrs) drive on Karakuram Highway, in the way you will visit to Taixla and make several stops for tea, photography and lunch. Meals and overnight at hotel
Day03 Fairy Meadow:
In the morning visit to rock carving and inscription cover hundred of rocks along the banks of the Indus River at Chilas then drive to Raikot Bridge then by local jeeps to Tato Village, where jeep roads ends and trek 2-3 hrs to Fairy Meadow (3300M), can enjoy charming views and unforgettable North Face of Mt. Nanga Parbat (8125M), 2nd highest peak in Pakistan and 9th position in the world, overnight in the tents.
Day-04 Beyal:
Trek 2 hours 5km to Beyal (3500M) and about 200m ascents, the trail to Beyal hugs the edge of the terrace above the Raikot Glacier's terminus, overlooking the valley and glacier. The trail passes through lush chirr pine and fir forest with a birch â€'lined stream for 30 minutes. After cross to the streams true right bank now lined by juniper and a few chirr. The valley opens up as you reach the wildflower filled meadows of Beyal (3500M) with great views down valley of the Indus valley and Rakaposhi. Over night in the camp
Day-05 Minapin Village:
Trek back to Tato then jeeps drive to Raikot Bridge and drive on Karakoram Highway to Minapin, village overnight at hotel
Day-06 Trek to Hapakun 3-4 hours trek 5.8km, 792 m ascent the trail raises 183 m on switchbacks for 30 minutes then eases off and enters an open aromatic juniper forest after 1.5 hour rich Hapakun overnight in tent
Day-07 Trek to Tagaphari 2-3 hours 3km 457 ascents, the trail eases off and contours the rocky slop for 30 minutes to a verdant bowl where wildflowers and colorful songbirds thrive. Sweeping gently thought the meadow, the trial enters scattered juniper stands and climbs switchbacks windy, where Diran, Rakaposhi and there interconnection ice wall finally come into full view. Overnight in tent
Day-08 Free day for local explorer or visit Diran Base Camp, across the glacier and back for overnight in tent
Day-09 Trek back to Minapin then drive to Karimabad overnight at hotel
Day-10 Drive to Hoper and evening time visit Duikar village view point and back to Karimabad overnight at hotel
Day-11 Drive to Gulmit then Passu overnight at hotel
Day-12 Drive back to Chilas 7-8 hours overnight at hotel
Day-13 Drive to Islamabad overnight at hotel
Day-14 Fly back to home land
