Muaisa Hale Pule is a Hawaii-based, shamanic church with neither walls nor religious dogma. We meet "from house to house" and n the majesty of some of Hawaii's most pristine habitats. An officially recognized 501(c)(3) Chapter of New Haven Native American Church (NHNAC), duly authorized to conduct our affairs in the State of Hawaii, we do not engage in commerce and rely instead on charitable contributions and volunteerism. All services under our auspices are spiritually-focused.

Our shamans have been researching ayahuasca and studying indigenous Hawaiian trees and plants for over 25 years. In exchange for meeting certain charitable contribution thresholds, donors are offered the intangible spiritual benefit of participating in our programs and ceremonies, all of which are available without admission fees, and none of which are sold in commercial transactions outside the donative context. Given expenses and the number of people we serve, our minimum contribution thresholds reflect the free-will minimums we must receive to break even. Like all tax-deductible gits, charitable contributions to Muaisa Hale Pule are non-transferable and non-refundable.

This is to invite you to visit us on the Big Island of Hawaii where, on New Year's Eve and on every consecutive Sunday evening throughout the year, we enjoy and celebrate the native magical plants that live here in the middle of the world's largest ocean, the ocean named after Peace. These psychoactive plant teachers have been growing in the surrounding Pacific jungles and have been breathing, propagating, rooting themselves and contributing to indigenous sacred rituals and ceremonies since ancient times.

Furthermore, depending on where you are in the world, it is often more convenient -- and a heck of a lot more relaxing -- to come to Hawaii than it is to travel to South America. What better place to connect to All That IS and to experience a greater sense of "being" and "contentment" than in the Hawaiian islands?

"Ayahuasca" is the term used to describe a home-brewed tea made from 2 or more psychoactive plants that grow in the Amazon rain forest of South America. Hawaii and the Pacific Islands, however, have their own set of indigenous entheogens (psychotropic plants which are in the same plant family as South American Ayahuasca, and which induce a spiritual experience aimed at, literally, "becoming one with God"). The Master Teaching Plants we work with are comparable to "Cielo Yellow" Ayahuasca (aka: "Broad Leaf") and have been used for thousands of years in sacred rituals, healing practices, and spiritual ceremonies in Hawaii and this part of the world.

Where South American Ayahuasca is illegal to consume and/or distribute in Hawaii, in most countries of the world, and in the majority of States of the Union, the psychotropic, psychoactive, entheogenic (literally, "becoming divine within") plants we work with on the Big Island of Hawaii are neither scheduled not regulated by either the FDA or the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). As a result, they are 100% legal and are not being suppressed by law enforcement.

"I didn't feel that different from how I feel in the opening rounds with ayahuasca. Colors became a little more saturated, and I began to feel less like an intruder, more at one and at peace with all of the nature around me. I felt like I was vibrating and somehow blending in with everything around me."
-- A regular ayahuasca participant on his first experience of traditional Hawaiian plants

"This brew took a very definite hold of me in a way I hadn't quite experienced before. It didn't have that heavy, ayahuasca, physical sensation; so it was clearer than ayahuasca.
The jungle around me took on a beautiful, crisp glow. Things seemed to pulse and flow in a rhythm that I was part of.The insects and frogs chirping away seemed to speak a language that I could almost understand."
-- A seasoned teaching plant explorer after his first encounter with sacred Hawaiian plants
