VaughanTown: Gredos, Avila (#1/3) Very near the border of Salamanca and Extremadura, you will find the town of Barco de Avila, located in the province of Avila. The four-star accommodations are a 30-minute walk from the town square. Among other Roman and Arab influences, there is a small aqueduct, a castle, chapels and even an old prison, the perfect surroundings to make you feel far from the city. The hotel was built on a 15-acre piece of land in full view of the Gredos mountain range. Everywhere you look from this fine hotel you will have impressive views of nature at its best. Every room has its own bathroom, television, phone and hairdryer. Everyone will have private rooms with either a double bed or two twin beds. The bathroom is spacious, comfortable, and includes a jacuzzi.
