Lake 69 - Full Day Trek - Reviews

Edgar is very welcoming and kind, fully supportive giving info about different treks and hikes in the area, as well as organising different tours. The BnB is essential but ok, there is a common kitchen guests can use in case of need. everything was really fine for us, including mate de coca welcome tea. Few things to be noticed: Edgar is not very talkative and full of details via email (maybe using WhatsApp it would have been better?); He is not a tour agency himself but just a reseller, we did Santa Cruz 4days trek with Santa Cruz Trek booking via PeruBergSport, everything went fine but the tour would have been cheaper if reserved directly with Ganesa. Positive aspect, he allowed us to have a shower and use a room to change our clothes after the trek, even if we were not staying there for the night. All in all, thank you Edgar!

Por primera vez visité huaraz, nos hospedamos aquí 4 noches y puedo recomendarlo al 100% , el precio es accesible , a 3 cuadras de la plaza de armas , lugar tranquilo , Edgar y su esposa excelentes anfitriones , baños limpios y agua caliente (básico ) , los tours se encuentra en el precio, totalmente recomendado, regresaría nuevamente.

When you travel, it is important to feel comfortable and safe in the place and meet other people. In the this hostel you have everything. You can meet not only other travelers but real Peruvian and just talk with them about country, city or other things. You feel safe having key to your room in your pocket. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They will help you not only in booking trips, buying tickets or book another hostel but also when you have medical problems or just need an advise. Hostel is in the center so it is easy to go to the city whenever you want. Hostel and rooms are very clean with big and comfortable beds. There are two bathrooms and kitchen, when you can prepare your favorite food. There is always hot water at the shower what is important after long trekking. Breakfast, tea and coffee are always waiting for you. B&B Santa Cruz Trek Hostel is perfect place to feel real Peruvian soul. I had wonderful time there.

Great location; easy to walk to restaurants, stores, bank, main square. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful. The first night we arrived we were shown some close by restaurants and grocery stores. He also helped us arrange a Huayhuash trek. In the morning a complimentary breakfast and tea was served. We would stay here again.
