We are located in the southernmost village on Hatteras Island, which is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. We have some of the most beautiful, unspoiled beaches on the planet. Hatteras fits best with those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. You can spend your day relaxing on the beach with the sun on your face and the gentle island breeze at your back, or try parasailing high enough to see the curvature of the earth, or maybe horseback riding through a wooded trail to the ocean surf. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries!
Accommodations
The Seaside Inn Bed & Breakfast is located within walking distance to the beach, wonderful artisian shops, and delicious restaurants. We are within eight miles of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and just two miles of the ferry to Ocracoke, the next island south.

Rooms/Suites
Each room has a private bath, a/c, and all but one have cable television. (The honymoon suite does not have cable, but no one has missed it yet!) Some rooms have a sitting area, two rooms have a Jacuzzi tub, and one room is pet-friendly.
Amenities
There is a wonderful Italian restaurant next door and restaurants serving the freshest seafood available are within walking distance. We have a couple of night clubs within a 20 mile distance, which are good places to meet some of our local folks. There are two bicycles available to you on a first come, first served basis.
Policies & Restrictions
All patrons must be 18 years of age or older. All of our rooms are non-smoking. We do have several lovely porches for those who partake. And, we have one room designated as pet-friendly.

Map & Directions
Once you are on the Outer Banks, head south to Hatteras Island. We are located at mile post 71, on the oceanside. From Ocracoke, head north from the ferry, about two miles at mile post 71, on the oceanside.
