The Bed and Breakfast 'Le Ginestre' is located at 10 Km from the city centre, on one of the most beautiful hills surrounding Florence, immersed in a green area, with a 360° panoramic view of Florence, Fiesole and its beautiful countryside.
Thanks to the bed and breakfast's favourable position, the historical centre of the city can be reached in 15 minutes for a pleasant visit. If you prefer you may enjoy the benefits the wide open spaces can offer: just relax, go for beautiful walks, or take advantage of the various sporting activities the area offers.
The warm and welcoming house has a large private garden and solarium put at guest's disposal.
The area reserved for the B&B has an independent entrance, a leaving-room and a beautiful panoramic terrace. The B&B has 5 elegantly furnished bedrooms with private TV: 3 bedrooms with private bathroom and a suite with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and lobby. B&B Le Ginestre can accommodate 12 person in total.
Breakfast is carefully prepared by the landlady with fresh, genuine food and home-made jams, all served outside in the warm season.

We are located near via bolognese, an elegant ancient Florentine street that was, at one time, the only road that reached Bologna.
From and to Florence
In 15 minutes by car Piazza Della Libertà just outside the historical center of Florence can be reached. Those who prefer to avoid the city traffic,can catch a train at the nearby Montorsoli station, going to the center of Florence. As an alternative, there is a bus stop 1.5 kilometers away.
FOR THOSE ARRIVING FROM UP NORTH (Milano - Bologna) - Km 23 approx.
Exit A1 Barberino - Follow the directions to Firenze taking the SS65.
Go past Vaglia and Fontebuona and continue on to Pratolino. At the Pratolino Post Office turn right and follow indications for Sesto-Monte Morello taking Via Uccellatoio until the end of the road. At the end of the road, turn right and follow directions for Sesto-Monte Morello. Follow the road for 1,5 km., then turn right on Via del Torrino. After 500 meters, on the left, Via Di Straniano begins. After a curve the street will divide, keep going straight for 50 mt., the first gate on the right is the entrance to the B&B Le Ginestre.
FOR THOSE ARRIVING FROM THE WEST (Genova) - Km 22 approx.
After passing the last Toll booth on the A11 Firenze Mare motorway continue in the direction of Florence. Pass the airport. Follow the directions for CENTRO e VIALI CIRCONVALLAZIONE for a few kilometers until you see directions for STADIO and FIESOLE. Once you reach P.zza Della Libertà, follow on in the direction of BOLOGNA SS65 and VIA BOLOGNESE. Continue along Via Bolognese for approximately 10 km passing Trespiano, Pian di S. Bartolo and Montorsoli. Turn left at the fork in the road and follow directions for Monte Morello and Colli Alti. Continue for 2 km and turn right on Via del Torrino.
