Description
The Phoenix Hotel has been popular with the entertainment industry and travelers with a creative spirit since 1987, when Joie de Vivre founder Chip Conley opened the iconoclastic hotel . This funky, urban retreat is an unexpected oasis, featuring a landmark pool, original 50's architecture, and retro styled guestrooms with modern amenities . All of the spacious 44 rooms face the tropical landscaped courtyard with sculptures by local artists .
The hotel is now a Non-Smoking Property
Courtyard Hours/Evening Policy
Courtyard is open:
Sunday to Thursday: 7:30 a . to 10 p . ; Friday and Saturday: 7:30 a . to 12 a .
Please be aware that our courtyard is a shared space with our lounge Chambers eat + drink, there is music as well as bar patrons sharing this space in accordance to the posted courtyard hours .
We strive to maintain a relaxed and comfortable environment for all our guests and have created our Evening Policy with this goal in mind . With all our rooms facing an open courtyard, where noise can easily travel, we ask that you be respectful of your fellow guests and mindful of how your late night activities may affect others . We have the reputation as the 'rock n' roll' hotel because we get a large number of bands that stay with us, but even they are asked to comply with the Evening Policy; and often their safety relies on the ability of their bus driver to get some sound sleep . Unregistered guests may not be allowed on property after the courtyard closes .
