Visit Connemara and Kylemore Abbey with Fáilte Tours, as we drive out along the Atlantic Coast towards the Famine Village. From here we drive through the Ignagh Valley and the Lakes of Connemara to our major stop at Ireland's most romantic castle.

We will travel out along the coast road, towards Baile na hAbhann, home of the Famine Village. Here you can see the ruins of Famine Cottages left behind in the 1850's. You will also see a few thatched cottages. We continue on towards Screeb Waterfall and the Leprechaun's Cottage. After your photo opportunity here we again continue throgh the turf bogs and on to Maam Cross, home of the replica cottage of the Quiet Man. We now continue through the Ignagh Valley with the Maam Turks ojn one side and the Twelve Bens on the other.
Again you will get a few more photo opportunities as we stop at the Lakes of Connemara.
We continue now towards Kylemore Abbey, often described as Ireland's most romantic castle. Here we will stop for just over two hours, giving you plenty of time to explore Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, together with lunch.

The day begins with our departure at 10:00am from the New Coach Station in Galway.
Our tour takes us around the beautiful sights of Connemara and back to Galway at around 5:30pm
