Since November 2009 Hotel Loggia Fiorentina has new owners and was totally renovated creating a magic atmosphere with crunchy modern and great antique art on colored walls completed by tasteful furniture, plants and flowers.
According to the city council resolution N. 230/33 of 06/20/2011, From july 1 st the city of Florence will introduce the tourism tax applied to non-residents overnight staying, For a maximum of 10 consecutive nights.
The tourism tax rate is euro 1 for night, And it is not applied to:

- People,who provide assistance to patients in hospital, Max one each patient
- People/ family, Who provide assistance to underage patients in hospital, Max two each patient

Arriving by train:
Hotel Loggia Fiorentina is reachable in a 10-minute walk from the main railway station Santa Maria Novella.
You don't need to take any bus. Using the main or left exit (railway tracks on your back) go to your left and take Largo F.lli.Allinari which will turn into Via Nazionali after a few meters .
Keep going straight on until you find Via Guelfa (fourth on your right).
Take it and head on until Via San Gallo (third on your left). You will find us five meters after the next inter section on your left at Via San Gallo 31. Ring the door bell on your right.
If you are carrying heavy luggage, you might want to take a taxi, which costs around 7 Euro depending on traffic, pieces of luggage, time of day and the day.

Hotel Loggia Fiorentina is located in the historic center about 6 km from Florence Airport "Amerigo Vespucci". The Airport has good connections to the center of the city, which can be reached in about fifteen minutes by taxi and about twenty minutes by the Sita/Ataf service 'Vola in Bus' between the Airport and Santa Maria Novella main railway station.
A taxi to the hotel will cost approximately € 20 and the shuttle 'Vola in Bus' leaving every thirty minutes costs € 4 per person. Tickets may be purchased also on board.
from Pisa Airport:
You can reach us also easily from Pisa Airport "Galileo Galilei". Trains are leaving frequently right from the airport to the main railway station of Florence "Santa Maria Novella". Please check on www.trenitalia.it

Reaching us from highway A1, our suggestion is to take the exit Firenze Certosa. Follow the sign Centro o Stazione. Once you get to Viale Spartaco Lavagnini take a sharp right into Via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria when you see the street sign Stazione Santa maria Novella / Mercato Centrale), take immediately the first on your left Via delle Route, then the second on your right Via Santa Reparata, then the first to your left Via XXVII Aprile and again the first to your left. This is Via San Gallo.
