We have an upstairs garden sleeping room for only $59 per night for double occupancy. Additional guests are $25 each. We request a two night minimum. Includes use of outdoor mini kitchenette, wireless internet and bathhouse with hot outdoor shower. Discounts available on weekly and monthly stays.
If you are spending the night, arrival times for check-in are between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Hawai'i time. Arriving after dark is difficult because there are no street lights up here, and it can be difficult to locate the property.
If you are coming from Hilo, it will be about a 25 minute drive. (If you are coming between 4 and 6 p.m. allow an extra 15 or 20 minutes for heavy traffic. ) Go towards Pahoa on Highway 130 and turn right on Pohaku Drive. (This is the first big street you will come to after the Kea'au intersection light, and it is directly across the highway from Shower Drive, before the 4 mile marker.)
Go up to 36th and turn left. This is a gravel road, so drive slowly. Make a right when you get to the paved road at the stop sign, which is Laniuma. Go right up to 39th and make a right. We are the second driveway on the left: 16-1436 39th St. Please note that at times the roads can be bumpy or there may be pot holes when there are heavy rains, so drive with caution.
If you are coming from Pahoa, it will take about 20 minutes. Go towards Hilo, turn left on Orchidland Drive, right on 37th, left on Laniuma where it is paved. Go up to 39th, make a right and we're the second driveway on the left: 16-1436 39th.

Please know that your drive here will be an adventure. Some of the roads are bumpy, so be prepared for a bit of a bouncy ride. It is safe to drive here in a regular car, but you will need to take your time.
