Opened in April 1999, the Old Killarney Cottages is a unique holiday development of 23 beautiful thatched cottages. The nostalgic village is set in the heart of one of the most picturesque regions of Co. Kerry and its location not only enjoys the surrounding beauty of the Kerry landscape but also a host of entertainment and leisure facilities.

The cottages at Old Killarney Village are all 4 Star and are approved by the Irish Tourist Board. Each cottage is equipped with dishwasher, washer / dryer, microwave, satellite TV . The living areas have open fireplaces so that you can savour the Old World atmosphere with a real turf fire.
The cottages enjoy large lawns where children can play safely, where you can relax in the serenity of your garden and weather permitting, barbeque for dinner.
We offer three bedroom units, in detached and semi-detached styles. Each cottage has one main bathroom with bath and shower and one or two en-suite bathrooms, depending on the unit type that you choose. Ourthree-bedroom cottage sleeps up to eight people.
Baby Cots (cribs) and high chairs are available to rent on the premises and should be booked in advance.
Please note that pets are allowed in the cottages.
It is company policy to have payment in full collected four to six weeks prior to arrival.
Please note that each cottage attract a €8.00 per day electricity charge.

Approaching from Dublin/Shannon
Arriving in Killarney you will be on the main Tralee/Killarney Road.
Follow the directions to the Town Centre.
Before arriving in Killarney town you will see signposts indicating The Aghadoe Heights Hotel to your right.
Take this right hand turn.
Drive on for approx. 300 yards and take the left hand turn. Continue along this road for a further 500 yards(approx).
Old Killarney Village is on your left hand side (Thatched Cottages).
Approaching Killarney from Cork
Approaching the first roundabout in Killarney there is a Super Vale Supermarket and petrol station on your right and the Ryan Hotel is situated over to the left.
Take the second exit off this roundabout signposted for Tralee and drive on to the next roundabout.
At this roundabout, take the third exit, signposted for Tralee, and take the first turning on the left, signposted for the Aghadoe Heights Hotel.
Drive approx 300 Yards along this road and take the left hand turn. Continue along this road for a further 500 yards (approx.).
Old Killarney Village is on your left hand side (Thatched Cottages).
