PADDYS PALACE is always a full of activity, music, laughter & conversation. There are FREE walking tours & our hostel is the hub for Paddywagon Tours {Irelands largest Tour Co.} and they have 10 Guided bus-tour departures per day to the 4 corners of Ireland.

We are the only Hostel in Ireland with our own fleet of luxury coaches providing FREE airport transfers from 5AM to 10PM daily. Our beautiful Hostel was built in 1792 by Gandon, the most accomplished architect in Irish History. We face the most majestic building in Ireland - The Customs House (also the work of good old Mr. Gandon!).

When you make a reservation for a dorm bed or a twin/double private room in our award-winning downtown Dublin hostel and accommodation centre, Paddy's Palace, we will provide you with a free transfer ON OUR COMPLIMENTARY PADDYWAGON AIRPORT SHUTTLE BUS direct from Dublin Airport to our front door.
SAVE UP TO €30! This will save you money, as we feel Dublin taxi's (€20-€30) and regular airport buses (€7 one way) are an absolute rip-off .
Choosing our tours and staying in our hostel will also save you from the hassle of dragging your bags through the streets of Dublin, when the expensive, regular airport bus drops you off nowhere the other Dublin hostels!
Our Paddywagon airport coach provides 18 daily departures to and from Dublin airport direct to the door of Paddy's Palace Hostel, our city centre HQ, where ALL Paddywagon Tours depart from.

IMPORTANT INFO:
Buses to airport leave from front door of Paddys Palace Hostel, Lower Gardiner St. 364 days per year at 5am, 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm & 9pm
Buses from Airport: leave from the motor-coach park, which is 5 minutes walk in front of the main arrivals building at Dublin airport. Our coach is a bright green Paddywagon bus. Bus departs at 6am, 8am, 10am, 12noon, 2pm,4pm, 6pm, 8pm & 10pm
Subject to availibilty: ALL seats on board our FREE shuttle bus are subject to availability, if all seats are full you will have to wait to the next bus on our timetable.
Journey time: The journey time will take approximately 30 minutes. If traffic is heavy or there are unforeseen circumstances this may take longer, we take no responsibility for you possibly being late for your flight. That is YOUR responsibility

Directions

Transport from the Airport:

EXPRESS BUS: AIRLINK 747. This service operates to and from the airport every 15 minutes and is �6.00 one way / �10.00 return. Get the Airlink 747 right outside arrivals and get off at the bus stop at Christchurch Cathedral - we are right across the road from the bus stop. Journey time approx. 30mins.

BUS: The number 16A: the cheapest transport into the city (but takes a lot longer!). Take the 16A and get off at College Green. The cost is �2.65 each way. Note, correct change is required. Journey time approx. 1hour
(see foot directions below)

TAXI: costs between �25-�30 depending on traffic and will take between 30-40 minutes.

Transport from Dun Laoghaire Ferryport:

TRAIN: Dublin's train service (DART) operates a service from Dun Laoghaire Dart Station to Tara Street Station in the city centre. From the station it is about a 15 minute walk to Kinlay House.

BUS: Take the 46A bus into the City centre and alight at Suffolk Street. The cost is �2.30 each way. Note, correct change is required


On Foot:

From Trinity College: Walk along College Green onto Dame Street. Continue onto Lord Edward Street, Kinlay House is at the very top on the right hand side, just before Christchurch Cathedral.

From O'Connell Street: Cross O'Connell bridge and continue along Westmoreland street. Turn right at College Green (Trinity College) and continue on Dame street to Lord Edward street, you will find us on the right just before Christchurch Cathedral
