The Everest Hotel in the center of Luxor is run by German-Egyptian management since 1994. This teamwork of an experienced Egyptian hotel-keeper family and a German Egyptologist has created a friendly and familiar atmosphere, where international travelers as well as Egyptian guests feel welcome. We have a lot of steady customers, and in winter time our hotel is a meeting point for young Japanese backpackers.
Our 20 rooms are furnished simple and proper and include everything which our guests need for a pleasant stay. Every room has a private bathroom with hot shower and WC and is equipped with air condition, satellite T.V. and a small fridge. Our rooms are cleaned daily, and our guests can use our washing machine free of charge for their own laundry. We also offer a laundry service for a small price.
Big groups, small groups and individual travelers from everywhere are welcome and easily accommodated, and we have a special offer for women who travel alone. If you like to have a place for withdrawal and reserve in time we can give you a room in a separate area of the hotel.
If our guests need transfer to our hotel from Luxor Airport, from the railway station or the bus station, we can arrange this.
No matter if you want to visit all the monuments or just to have a quiet time in Luxor - we can help you with everything and want you to feel at home in Everest Hotel!
In close co-operation with the Egyptian Tour Operator www.egypteasytrip.com we can arrange your sightseeing in Luxor and its environment. Of course we can also help you to plan your trips to other places in Egypt, to visit cities like Cairo or Aswan, or to travel to the coast of the Red Sea or to the oasis of the western Desert. If you want a guide in your own language to accompany you to the sites, we can arrange this, too.
And if you prefer to discover Luxor and the West bank on your own, you can lend bicycles or motorbikes from Everest Hotel and start your adventure on two wheels. Those who like to be driven will find horse carriages or taxis just around the corner at the Television Street.
Luxor is developing quickly and therefore now more easily visible for the tourists. Also our quarter of the city has changed a lot, and many new shops have been established. Only a stone\'s throw away from our hotel there are internet-caf�s, shops for mobile phones and computers, photographic studios, pharmacies, groceries and restaurants. But you can still buy fruits and vegetables from traditional street traders or spend some time in a coffee shop and watch the Egyptian street life around you.

We are just 11 minutes walk from the train station and 15 minutes from the bus station as we are in the heart of Luxor.

For your convenience we have large signs on the corners of most streets which will direct you to our door, we pride ourselves on having the most signs so that you won't feel lost.
