Description of Surrounding Area

Millefiori Bed and Breakfast is an old country property in the hills between the Itria Valley, the Murge Plateau and the Adriatic Sea in south-central Puglia (the heel of Italy). Located in the middle of trulli country, it’s next to a protected area of olive groves and woods. The trullo is a traditional cone shaped houses in this part of Puglia. We are just a few miles from the quaint towns of Cisternino, Ostuni, Alberobello, Martina Franca and Locorotondo. Further south is the Baroque gem of Lecce and to the west is the town of Grottaglie, famous for its ceramics. About 30 minutes to the east lies the Torre Guaceto marine reserve with its crystal clear water and isolated beaches.Amidst nature, history and culture this part of Italy offers an example of how to live life to the fullest.And not to forget there’s the production of our own Mille Fiori organic honey and extra virgin olive oil.

Description of Accommodations

Besides our living quarters we have two rooms for our guests. Both are double rooms with heating, TV, refrigerator and respective private bathrooms. Both also have their own independent entrances. They are furnished with period and local furniture and they were restored using eco-friendly material.

Description of Rooms/Suites

Stelletta (little star) is the larger of the two rooms with 270 square feets. It has a queen size bed and its own private patio.Torretta (little tower) is about 170 square feets with two single beds. It is located one flight up with its own terrace.Both rooms are cool in the summer and toasty in the winter due to the traditional construction. From either patio/terrace you can enjoy views of the bucolic surroundings. Sleeping here at night is truly restorative thanks to the fresh country air and silence.
